This shift has led to the division of science history into internal and external perspectives, enriching the content and methodology of science history. Additionally, a non-scientific aspect has emerged in the historiography of science. By combining science and history, this field can address complex issues like historical epistemology and methodology. Reflecting on the entire history of science with a deeper understanding is crucial for advancing this interdisciplinary field.
