Fenton Reagent Boosts Coking Wastewater Treatment Efficiency to 89.9%
The researchers studied how to clean up coking wastewater using a chemical called Fenton reagent. They looked at factors like how much hydrogen peroxide to use, the ratio of iron to hydrogen peroxide, pH levels, and temperature. They found that by using the right conditions, they could remove almost 90% of the pollutants in the wastewater. They also discovered that adding hydrogen peroxide in batches works best for cleaning up the water.
