The experiment tested different combinations of Trifolium repens, Lolium perenne, and Dactylis glomerata grass in apple orchards and other fruit trees. The best combination was found to be Trifolium repens, Lolium perenne, and Dactylis glomerata, with a high yield of 49,781.41 kg per hectare and a dry to fresh grass ratio of 0.292. This combination can be planted to improve grass growth under orchards in Qiannan.
