New late indica hybrid rice boosts yields and quality for farmers.
A new late-season hybrid rice called Iteyou3381 was created by crossing two parent rice lines. It has good grain quality, high and stable yields, and grows well in various conditions. In trials, it yielded 6.03% more than a common hybrid rice variety. This new rice was officially approved and released in 2006.
