New rice cultivation method boosts yield and efficiency in cold regions.
A study was conducted to improve rice cultivation in cold regions by optimizing water use, fertilizer application, and planting density. By using different combinations of these factors, researchers found that the most effective method for high yield and water efficiency was controlled irrigation, late-stage nitrogen application, and a planting density of 24 seedlings per square meter. This approach led to significant improvements in rice yield and effective panicles, showing that integrated management techniques can enhance productivity and efficiency in rice farming.
