Researchers collected data from 329 wood samples of poplar trees in Anhui Province to create a volume table. They used mathematical equations to calculate the best model for estimating tree volume, which turned out to be V=0.0001413d2.4463. The accuracy of the model was tested with 29 additional samples, showing low errors that meet forestry standards.
