In the Sangong River Basin, irrigation for agriculture has changed land use and water conditions, causing desertification through vegetation degeneration, soil salinization, wind erosion, and soil pollution. It is crucial to find ways to maintain the oasis ecosystem's balance and utilize its resources sustainably to prevent further desertification.
