The study looked at how lead (Pb) is distributed in soil in Wutan Town, Chongqing. They found that Pb levels in soil are influenced by factors like fertilization and crop management. Paddy fields have higher Pb levels than dry land due to different farming practices. Most of the soil samples met national safety standards for Pb levels. About half of the studied area had low pollution levels, while a fifth had medium pollution levels.
