The study looked at how foreign trade affects economic growth in Shaanxi Province from 1980 to 2007. They used tests to see if there is a long-term relationship between foreign trade and economic growth. The results show that there is a strong connection between foreign trade and economic growth in Shaanxi. The province mainly focuses on exporting goods, which directly impacts economic growth. Importing goods also indirectly contributes to economic growth in Shaanxi.
