The article examines how the industrial structure in Hebei province impacts the county's economic growth. It finds that primary industry is prominent while tertiary industry is lacking. Changes in industrial structure have a small effect on economic growth, but industry growth rate is significant. Suggestions are made to optimize industrial structure based on county characteristics. The study emphasizes the crucial role of government in providing information, policies, institutions, and infrastructure to enhance industrial structure.
