Flood control in the Yangtze River basin is crucial, but challenges remain due to the mismatch between flood levels and river capacity. The completion of the Three Gorges Project will alter water flow patterns, potentially leading to new flood control issues. To address this, a physical model combining math will be created to better understand and manage floods in the region.
