The study looked at land use issues in Xianhu Economic Development Zone. Problems identified include poor land planning, inappropriate use of farmland, and serious depletion of state-owned land. To address these issues, better planning and land acquisition management are needed, along with government intervention to regulate the land market and improve land resource efficiency.
