New hybrid rice combo Tianfengyou 134 boosts yield with key cultivation measures.
A study on a new type of hybrid rice called Tianfengyou 134 looked at how different seeding rates and seedling ages affect the quality and yield of the rice. The researchers found that the best seedling age was around 30 days, with 35 days being the maximum. For late-season cultivation, transplanting at around 7 leaves was ideal. The rice variety had a high harvest index and adaptability, with a recommended seeding rate of 225.0 kg per hectare. To achieve high yields, it was important to scatter seeds for healthy seedlings and increase tillers to promote earbearing tillers.
