Tea garden soil study reveals key to maximizing crop yields.
Tea garden soils in Wuyishan City were studied to see how organic carbon and nitrogen are distributed. Different soil types showed varying levels of organic carbon and nitrogen, with higher amounts found closer to the surface. Alpine meadow soil had the most organic carbon and nitrogen, while red earth had the least. The study also found that organic carbon and nitrogen levels were linked to soil properties like porosity and bulk density, but not to soil moisture or pH. Overall, the research showed that the distribution of organic carbon and nitrogen in tea garden soils varies depending on the soil type and depth.
