The article focuses on improving water efficiency in Chinese agriculture by upgrading water-saving irrigation methods and systems. Currently, only 30%-40% of water is used efficiently, leading to both shortages and wastage. To address this, the research suggests updating irrigation technology, enhancing water management, and expanding research into crop water needs. By better understanding irrigation systems and modernizing approaches, the aim is to solve water shortages in rural areas and ensure sustainable agricultural development.
