Dong Zhong-shu, a leader in Confucianism during the Han Dynasty, developed the idea of Domination of Confucianism by blending Confucianism with Yin-Yang Five Elements theory. His philosophy emphasized the connection between humans and nature, as well as the unity between heaven and man. While his aesthetic thought was criticized for being idealistic, it still holds relevance today in promoting harmony in society and following a balanced approach to development.
