A new rice variety called Yuetaisimiao was created by combining two parent varieties, Fengsizhan and Qilisimiao. This new variety is resistant to rice blast disease, produces high yields, and has good grain quality. It was developed by the Rice Research Institute at the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Yuetaisimiao shows promise for widespread use in farming.
