Optimizing Phosphorus Application Boosts Crop Yields and Soil Health in Rotation System
Phosphate fertilizer can boost wheat and maize yields in crop rotation systems. The best yield was achieved with 120kg/hm2 of phosphorus. More phosphorus led to lower fertilizer efficiency, but higher soil phosphorus levels. Excess phosphorus can increase soil nitrate nitrogen. 120kg/hm2 of phosphorus application is the most effective for crop yield and soil health.
