The study looked at how to better measure urbanization levels in Tianjin. Instead of just using population numbers, the researchers came up with a new way to estimate urbanization. They created a model that considers urban development using Newton Secondly Low. When they applied this model to Tianjin, they found it was more accurate than just looking at population urbanization. The results showed that this new method can give a more realistic picture of urbanization levels in different areas.
