New wastewater treatment process turns sewage into reusable water for flushing!
A process combining A2O and MBR was used to treat campus sewage. It removed 90% of organic substances, 98% of NH+4-N, and 45% of TN. The effluent met water quality standards for non-potable uses like toilet flushing and greening. The technology proved effective for wastewater treatment and reuse.
