A new sesame variety called Jihangzhi No.2 was created using space breeding technology. It has a high average yield of 1,012.28 kg/hm2, which is 12.09% more than the previous variety, Jizhi No.1. The new variety also has a high content of crude fat (53.46%) and crude protein (22.64%). Jihangzhi No.2 has strong stems, grows tall, produces white seeds, and is resistant to diseases. It can grow well in various conditions and has been successfully tested in different provinces. The cultivation techniques for this new variety have been developed to ensure high efficiency and yield.
