Paper Summary

Factors influencing the accumulation of nickel by Synechcoccus were investigated. Nickel uptake was highest at a mass ratio of 16%-18% and pH of 9-10. The process was faster at 35°C and under 3000 lx of light. Nonliving algae accumulated more nickel than living algae.
