Water Crisis Looms in Dagang District Due to Pollution and Overuse.
The study on water supply and consumption in Dagang district found that there is a shortage of water due to insufficient quantity and poor quality. The main problems identified include surface water pollution, groundwater overdraft, excess fluorine in rural drinking water, lack of rural water supply, and inefficient water use. To address these issues, the researchers suggest building water diversion works, improving local sewage treatment, using water-saving techniques to increase water productivity, and enhancing water use management.
