The article describes how a new technology called high-gravity rotating packed bed was used to improve the desulphurization process in sulphuric acid plants. By implementing this new system, the plants were able to reduce harmful emissions and increase the value of their products. The performance test showed significant reductions in SO2, H2SO4, and NH3 emissions, leading to cost savings and environmental benefits.
