Animal husbandry in Yunnan has been growing fast, with a nearly 10% annual increase in output value. However, there are issues like a lack of coordination and industry structure that are hindering its development. The study analyzed changes in the industry during the eleventh five-year plan, the structure of animal husbandry, and its importance in Yunnan's agriculture economy. Suggestions were made to improve Yunnan's animal husbandry industry.
