The article examines how companies in Jiangsu Province disclose information about their environmental impact. Researchers studied 78 listed companies from 2001 to 2003 to see how they shared details about their environmental practices in financial reports. They found that many companies did not provide enough information about their environmental impact. The researchers suggest creating a better system for companies to disclose their environmental information to the public.
