The paper discusses the relationship between Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and scientific socialism, as well as democratic socialism. It argues that Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is a part of the development of scientific socialism, not separate from it. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 17th Party's Central Committee clearly distinguishes between scientific socialism and democratic socialism, criticizing the latter. The paper concludes that there is no form of socialism that exists outside of scientific socialism.
