Optimizing Fertilizer Use Boosts Wheat Yields and Agricultural Efficiency in China.
The study looked at how different fertilization methods affect winter wheat yields in Zhaoyuan city. They found that the amount of phosphate fertilizer used affected the wheat yield, with higher yields when Olsen-P content was at least 20 mg/kg. Decreasing fast-acting potassium also increased wheat yield, especially when the content was below 80 mg/kg. Using a combination of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers led to higher yields and better fertilizer efficiency. Overall, applying all three fertilizers together can improve agricultural productivity.
