Underbalanced drilling coring technology involves drilling with fluid pressure lower than the rock formation pressure. In the northeast of SiChuan, this technology is used for drilling. The main goal of the study was to discuss the specific application of underbalanced drilling coring technology in this region. The researchers focused on the northeastern block and highlighted how this technology is implemented in practice.
