Paper Summary

The goal of the study was to create a model to predict the height of Acacia mangium trees in South Sumatra plantations. Researchers tested six different models using data from over 13,000 trees. The Lundqvist-Korf model was found to be the most accurate, especially when stand variables like age and site quality were included. Adding these variables improved the accuracy of predicting tree heights.
