Optimal potassium fertilizer use boosts rapeseed production in Yunnan Province.
The study looked at how using potassium fertilizer affects the growth and production of rapeseed in Yunnan Province. By applying the right amount of potassium fertilizer, rapeseed production increased by 4.7-9.1%. The best results were seen when using 150-180 kg/hm2 of K2O. Applying 1 kg of K2O increased rapeseed production by 559 kg and led to a net profit of 1,229 yuan/hm2. Overall, the recommended amount of potassium fertilizer for optimal production and efficiency in Yunnan Province is around 150-180 kg K2O/hm2.
