Optimal soil moisture and light conditions for thriving Wisteria sinensis leaves.
Wisteria sinensis leaves grow best when soil moisture levels are between 15.3% and 26.5%, with an optimal level of 23.3%. They also thrive under light conditions with a photosynthetic active radiation (PAR) of 600-1600 micromol x m(-2) x s(-1), with a peak at around 800-1000 micromol x m(-2) x s(-1). The leaves are more affected by soil moisture levels within the range of 18.4%-26.5%, while outside this range, light intensity plays a bigger role in their growth. To ensure healthy growth, Wisteria sinensis leaves need a minimum soil moisture level of 11.9% and a maximum PAR of 1000 micromol x m(-2) x s(-1).
