Female cancer survivors face challenges in preserving their fertility due to various factors like the type of cancer, chemotherapy, and age. Different strategies are needed for each case. Embryo cryopreservation is a successful method when a partner's sperm is available. Oocyte cryopreservation is an option for women without partners, but success rates are still low. Autotransplantation of cryopreserved ovarian tissue has shown promise, but it is still experimental. More research is needed to improve fertility preservation techniques and increase success rates for cancer survivors.
