Your moral intuitions shape how you judge others' behavior.
The study looked at how people's moral intuitions affect their opinions about characters in stories. Participants were asked about their intuitive feelings on morality, then read a story where a character did something good or bad. The results showed that people's moral approval of the character's actions influenced how they felt about the character overall. Also, people's intuitive sense of morality played a role in how they judged characters who did something morally wrong. This study suggests that our gut feelings about right and wrong can shape how we see fictional characters in media.
