Turbocharged engines revolutionize fuel efficiency and performance for drivers everywhere!
The study analyzed the performance of a turbocharged engine and suggested ways to improve its full and partial load characteristics. The compression ratio of the compressor increased rapidly until 1260 engine rpm, then slowly to 2.5 ratio. Brake mean effective pressure increased until 1260 rpm, then decreased rapidly after 1600 rpm. Higher pressure ratio leads to better fuel consumption and air excess ratio. Turbocharger operates stably from 1260 rpm, with lower efficiency at low speeds. These findings can help improve the control of turbocharged engines for stable performance.
