A study in Zimbabwe tested different herbicide combinations to see how well they controlled weeds in sugarcane fields. They found that mixing certain herbicides together, like pendimethalin and atrazine, was very effective at controlling most weed species. However, one weed, Ipomoea sinensis, was harder to control. Overall, using herbicides in combination was better at controlling weeds than using them alone.
