The article examines sustainability reporting in Australia's resources industry. A new scoring index was created to measure economic, social, and environmental aspects of sustainability. Companies in the industry tend to report more soft sustainability items than hard ones, with a focus on economic aspects over social and environmental ones. Most companies disclose sustainability information in their annual reports rather than in separate sustainability reports.
