A commercial herbal supplement called ImmuPlus was given to giant freshwater prawns to boost their immune system. The prawns were fed ImmuPlus for 4 weeks, and the results showed increased immune activities like phenoloxidase, haemagglutination, and lysozyme up to 3 weeks of feeding. The total protein level also went up in the 2nd week. This suggests that feeding prawns ImmuPlus for 3 weeks can help improve their immune status.
