The study aimed to improve drainage capacity at drainage wells on slopes to prevent flooding on roads. By conducting hydraulic experiments, researchers found that connecting the waterway to the drainage well at 1/3 of its height and joining the drain pipe at 0.3 times the diameter from the bottom of the drainage well increased drainage efficiency.
