Organic Nutrient Management Boosts Rice Productivity and Nutrient Uptake in Upland Ecosystem.
The researchers studied how different types of nutrients affect rice growth in dry areas. They tested various combinations of organic and inorganic nutrients on rice plants in a field experiment. They found that using a mix of Glyricidia plant material and recommended chemical fertilizers led to the highest rice yields and nutrient uptake. Specifically, applying Glyricidia at 10 tons per hectare along with the full dose of NPK fertilizers resulted in the best outcomes for rice production. This approach improved grain and straw yields, as well as the uptake of essential nutrients by the rice plants.
