The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer affected the yield and quality of super japonica rice. They found that using 300 kg of nitrogen per hectare led to the highest rice yield. Increasing nitrogen also improved the protein content of the rice, but decreased amylose content and taste quality. The study showed that managing nitrogen fertilizer carefully can help balance high yield, good quality, and efficient use of resources in rice production.
