The study looked at the levels of nitrate and nitrite in water sources in Kiev and Cherkassy regions. The highest concentrations found were 1.33 mg N/l of nitrite and 168 mg N/l of nitrate in local water sources. The researchers discussed how nitrate and nitrite are distributed in the water sources.
