Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection Revolutionizes Male Infertility Treatment Success Rates!
The study showed that intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is effective in treating male infertility and unexplained fertilization problems. In the research, 31 couples with severe sperm issues or unexplained infertility received ICSI treatment. Ovarian stimulation was done using a standard method, and mature eggs were selected for microinjection. Out of 237 treated eggs, 62% had normal fertilization and cleavage. Clinical pregnancies were achieved in 8 cases, with the first ICSI baby born in 1996. Overall, ICSI has improved the success of fertility treatments for male and unexplained infertility.
