New evaluation method revolutionizes tidal range energy resource assessment!
Tidal energy is a proven technology used in power plants like the Rance Tidal Power Station in France and Sihwa Lake Tidal Power Station in South Korea. However, current methods for assessing tidal energy resources have limitations. A new evaluation method based on flux conservation theory was developed and tested at Zhejiang Jiantiao Harbor, China. This method offers a more comprehensive and user-friendly approach to evaluating tidal range energy potential.
