This paper looks at how climate finance can be made fairer for communities affected by climate projects. It argues that just raising money for climate projects isn't enough - we also need to make sure the money is used effectively and responsibly. The Green Climate Fund is creating a way for people impacted by its projects to hold it accountable if the projects cause harm. This shows that there are still challenges in making sure climate finance is used in a way that benefits everyone and doesn't harm the environment.
