The article explores a new way to synchronize chaotic systems using impulses instead of continuous coupling. By applying impulses at specific times, chaotic and hyperchaotic systems can be synchronized effectively, even when continuous methods fail. The researchers developed a practical impulsive synchronization scheme for three discrete-time chaotic systems and demonstrated its success through simulations and experiments. This method can be used for data transmission using simple chaotic systems.
