Hospitals are not using credit lines and selling accounts receivable much to get cash. A survey found that only 45% of hospitals use credit lines, less than 5% sell accounts receivable, and only 12% plan to start selling accounts receivable in the future. This might change as hospitals try to find ways to make up for low cash reserves.
