Adzuki beans show resilience in weak light, paving way for sustainable farming.
Adzuki beans were tested to see how well they grow in weak light conditions. Three different varieties were studied, and their photosynthesis and growth were measured. The results showed that the beans reacted differently to the weak light, with one variety showing better tolerance than the others. The weak light caused changes in the beans' photosynthesis and growth, affecting factors like leaf quantity, root nodule, and flowering time. Overall, one variety of Adzuki bean was found to be the most shade-tolerant, followed by the other two varieties.
