New herbicides revolutionize maize farming, reducing weed density significantly.
New herbicides used in maize fields, along with intercultivation and intercropping techniques, effectively reduced weed growth. Topramezone + atrazine or tembotrione + atrazine with adjuvants, atrazine followed by intercultivation, and pendimethalin as pre-emergence treatments all led to significant decreases in weed density and biomass at 20 days after sowing.
