The researchers used a method called collaborative kriging interpolation to figure out how much rain falls in different parts of China each year. They looked at data from 756 weather stations and studied the relationships between seven different weather factors. By analyzing these factors together, they were able to make better predictions about rainfall. Their results showed that considering the connections between different weather elements can help improve the accuracy of rainfall estimates.
